its about a hat shop that is over 150 yrs old and it is about to close down coz people ant buying hats and the cant afford the rent here is some of the story
“well that’s some money towards paying for the shop to be put in the local news paper,” Louise said, “I still can’t believe your selling, what if we get a stall and sell hats at the local fair ? That will get people in and let people know about our shop,” she suggested, “we can’t afford to set it up and to buy a spot there, look it’s time to close and sell,” Geoff explained, he was about to continue explaining why it can’t stay open the bell above the door rang again and 2 smartly dressed business men carrying clip boards, they walked up to the counter and the shorter man said, “we are here to put a price on this shop,” Geoff nodded and showed them through to the back,“ok so how long has this building been here ? And when has it last had work done on it?” asked one of the business men picking up his pen ready for the answer, “well this shop has been here for over 150 years so just put 170 years because I don’t know the exact, and it was about 7 years ago we had the walls re-cemented,” the two men jotted it down “and whats up stairs?” asked the other business man curiously “I don’t know I have never been upstairs in all 40 years I have worked here, shall we look?” the all walked up the stairs

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 18 months. When he’s nice he’s terrific. He did a huge painting of me. He would pack my lunch and give me rides where ever I need to go. He can be very sweet and thoughtful. We have an amazing connection. He can read my thoughts, finish my sentences…you know the deal.
On the other hand he is taking me for granted and he has been very rude to me during arguments. When I try to communicate something to him that is bothering me about the way he behaves, he replies with “Are you going to break up with me over this? If not than shut up about it. ” When I tell him I’ll leave him he says “Go ahead no one is stopping you!”
He stayed at my place while I went away for a weekend trip and when I got back, the brand new clothes I had bought and left on the couch were missing ($113) It’s not alot of money. Why would he had clean up my place, buy fresh flowers and offer to go grocery shopping before I returned if he is a thief? It doesn’t make sense. Then again he is short on rent and I wonder if he took the clothes so he could return them to the store, or maybe he gave them to some other girl…I don’t know what happened to them! They are missing and he swears on “everything he holds dear” that he didn’t take them.. My Prada sunglasses and a diamond pendant he gave me went missing last year…I never accused him or even thought he could have done something so disgusting. Yet I’m seeing a pattern and I don’t know what to do.
On Friday night I broke up with him and he didn’t stop me. 12 hours later he began apologizing and asking me back and promising things would be different. He swears he didn’t take anything and he will change for the better. I also broke up with him on Christmas of 2010 …so it’s not the first time he promises things will change. He is literally begging me..text, email, calls… It’s so painful to watch him beg and reason for us to get back and have to say no!!!!
I’m 34, we both just got out of a doctorate program. I can’t understand why someone so smart, in a health care profession would steal or be so obnoxious. Not to sound shallow but people say I’m good looking. I was class president for our graduation. I don’t have problems finding another guy but I love him VERY much. Losing him is like losing a family member. He is a part of me. No one has ever come close to the connection I have with him.

i noticed yesterday that the volume bar on my 2nd gen ipod touch disappeared when the headphones aren’t in but when they are in it reappears i have just downloaded the latest software and have tried resetting it multiple times to no success if warranty is only a year then it has ran out, if i take it to an apple shop will they charge me considering its most likely a software fault? what can i do any help will be greatly appreciated

Honestly, I almost stop listening to the radio altogether. I was listening to some old stuff and all the beats are so good and catchy. Now all we got is crappy stuff. Even Usher has to change his style to those techno-ish crap. OMG is his worst single ever. Same with Enrique with that crap song that is climbing on the chart and Eminem collaborating with Lil Wayne out of all people. And don’t even get me started on clowns like Drake, Taio Cruz, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, etc. I rather listen to Ja Rule, Puff Daddy, Chingy and Juvenile. At least their stuff is catchy. Drake, Taio Cruz, Minaj are just straight garbage. You know the music industry is down the drain when Nelly has the best/realest song this year.
Anyway without further ado, here is my top 10 this year (I only listen to hip-hop, r&b and pop so yeah) and all the way till 2000’s. As you can see the number of decent songs is constantly dropping.

I bought three movies (The Godfather part 1, part 2 and part 3) And when I put my first part of the movie the DVD player says no disc, but other 2 parts are working perfectly. So I took my first part to the movie shop and they checked the movie on their DVD player and the movie worked fine. So what is the solution of this problem? By the way, all three movies have SAME requirements.

Hello,
I’m trying to stock up on winter clothes for my soon to be 6 months old daughter and I’m struggling to make my mind up. So the questions is: What does she REALLY need? She only goes out with me to the shops, but we’ll be mostly staying indoors during the winter. I’m trying to be as practical as possible and will be buying her size 12M as she is already 8 kg and a big baby. That way it will last her through early spring, covering 3 seasons. How many snowsuits/pramsuits/jackets/raincoats if any do I need? Should I buy leggings, trousers, dresses, skirts, romper suits, sleepsuits? There are so many choices and I just don’t want to be spending money just for the sake of it. What do/did you find most useful? Btw., we relocated to Switzerland so the winter is much harsher here. Thanks for your input!
